Information on the right of withdrawal

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded (Section 11 FAGG, Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act).

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to.

You can also withdraw electronically using the “Vom Vertrag zurücktreten” (withdraw from the contract) button on our website: examelia.com/at/en/ruecktritt. You do not need to log in. If you use this option, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of your withdrawal without delay (e.g. by email).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

Examelia provides digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium. For such a contract, the right of withdrawal expires early under Section 18(1) no. 11 FAGG once we have begun supplying it after you

expressly agreed that we begin supplying it before the withdrawal period ends,
confirmed that you know you lose your right of withdrawal by giving this consent once supply begins, and
we have confirmed this consent and acknowledgement to you on a durable medium (e.g. by email) (Section 7(3) FAGG).

You give this consent and confirmation in the learning environment, before you open the course for the first time, by ticking a box that is not pre-ticked. There is no such box at checkout; you do not give this consent when ordering. If you do not give it, your right of withdrawal remains in place for the full fourteen days.
